Summary of Key Points

This summary provides key points from our privacy statement.

What personal information do we process? When you use our Services, we may process personal information depending on how you interact with us and the choices you make. We collect and analyze coin images you upload, and process your chat conversations with our AI assistant, to provide identification, grading recommendations, and personalized advice. We use third-party AI services to power these features. We use coin images to train and improve our AI models. When you delete your account, coin images are anonymized (dissociated from your identity) and retained for model improvement.

How do we handle subscription purchases? Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple App Store and Google Play. We receive only a limited, store-generated receipt (order identifier, product ID, expiration date, and status). We use this data solely to confirm your subscription and unlock premium features. We do not receive or store credit-card or billing details.

Do we process any sensitive personal information? We do not process sensitive personal information.

Do we receive any information from third parties? We do not receive any information from third parties.

How do we process your information? We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.

In what situations and with which parties do we share personal information? We may share information in specific situations and with specific third parties.

How do we keep your information safe? We have organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

What are your rights? Depending on where you are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean you have certain rights regarding your personal information.

How do you exercise your rights? The easiest way to exercise your rights is by submitting a data subject access request or by contacting us. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details. We will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. No matter what data is received, the only data we store is an OAuth2 user-id — a unique identifier that, by itself, does not directly reveal an individual's real-world identity.

Analysis Results: Identification results, grading predictions, and collection data linked to your account are deleted when you delete your account.

Subscription Data: Subscription receipts are retained while your subscription remains active and for up to 12 months afterward for reconciliation, chargeback defense, and tax record-keeping, then deleted or anonymized.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at support@acon.ai.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at support@acon.ai.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy statement.
